About
As Idaho's largest and oldest performing arts organization, (established as the Boise Philharmonic in 1960) the symphony performs for over 50,000 people annually in concerts at the Morrison Center, NNU's Brandt Center in Nampa, in schools around the state, and in smaller recital halls and venues.
The Boise Phil 21-22 season includes Opening Night & Encore Ball, a Classics Concerts Series, free community concerts, and web access to performances on the Digital Stage. New this season are Sunday matinees at the Brandt Center at NNU. Visit boisephil.org for more information.
The Boise Phil Master Chorale is an auditioned chorus of nearly 100 volunteer singers and will be performing with the full orchestra numerous times this season as well as their Spring concert.
The Boise Phil Youth Orchestra is a joy to hear and be part of. These 160+ young musicians receive professional ensemble training and coaching by Boise Phil orchestra musicians. The seniors perform side-by-side with the professional orchestra twice a season as well as perform three stand-alone concerts.
