About

Huston Vineyards is an estate vineyard and boutique winery established in 2006. We are located on Chicken Dinner Road in Southern Idaho’s Snake River Valley AVA along the Sunnyslope Wine Trail.

Huston is family-owned and operated by Gregg & Mary Alger and their sons Jacob and Joshua. As farmers first, our wines begin in the vineyards, whether one of our estate vineyards or a specially-selected vineyard, which might bring a unique terroir component to our wines. Each site is carefully farmed and personally managed to ensure the premium quality of our handcrafted, small lot varietal wines.

Both our Huston line-up of wines and our Chicken Dinner label have consistently won international accolades at competitions and publications such as the Sunset International Wine Competition, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, and Wine Enthusiast.
