Chamber Friends,

First and foremost, I hope you and your families are doing well.

I wanted to give you a quick heads up on the status of the Nampa Chamber's upcoming events. The situation is a complicated and unprecedented one. I am aware that any decision we make will both please and upset an equal number of people. Please read and accept this decision with an open mind and heart.

It is with careful consideration that for October 2021, we have decided to host and offer our small to midsize events and pause on offering our large group events. To that end, for October, we will not hold Business & Breakfast or our Luncheon. However, we will continue to offer our small to midsize events, including Coffee Connect, Networking at Night, and ribbon cuttings.

While none of us can predict what the future (let alone next week) will look like, we will do our best to operate month by month and evaluate as we go. We are attempting to keep business-to-business in-person connections happening. Those who choose to meet in person have the opportunity to do so while we do our part to support our health care systems by not facilitating large group events.

Friends, I am respectfully asking for your patience and understanding. This is our best attempt to meet everyone in the middle, knowing that it is impossible to please everyone. I am personally challenging myself and each one of you to CHOOSE kindness and respect. I believe it is fair to say that many of us are tired of the negativity and want to see positive change in our community. Nampa is better than this! That change starts with you and with me!
