In the early 1970's, a committee of citizens identified the need for an event center for the Nampa community. Built from the time and money provided by numerous sponsors and volunteers of all ages it was built as a foundation for the Performing Arts.  On May 12, 1990, twenty years later, when the Nampa Civic Center opened its doors the entire facility was already paid for. The Center captures the spirt and legacy of the community, serving all generations.  On August 27, 2007, we began construction on a new expansion and the Nampa Civic Center added an additional 5,500 sq ft.  Over 100,000 people attend more than 1,000 events each year in our theater and conference rooms.  We invite you to come and experience sheer delight at our Center.

The Nampa Civic Center is a performing arts and convention complex. Each year the Civic Center presents a season of music, theatre and dance from October to May. The 640 seat auditorium is available for rental year round. In addition, the Civic Center hosts a wide variety of public and private events. Whether your special event is for five or five hundred, the Civic Center has a special room for you. We are available for your wedding, meeting, memorial, conference, gala, training and so much more.
