The Salvation Army originated in England with the founder William Booth in 1865. The Nampa Corps found it roots in 1905. Our work in Nampa includes The Salvation Army Family Shelter, a food bank, after school care, free music classes, a cooking school for children, day camp and community education classes in gardening and food service. Christmas is a huge opportunity for our clients and volunteers as well as we serve over 800 families with food and toys. The Salvation Army also meets on Sunday mornings for worship.
