Rosie the Riveter Day at the Warhawk Air Museum
Rosie the Riveter Day at the Warhawk Air Museum
Saturday, March 21, 2026 (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM) (MDT)
Description
On Rosie the Riveter Day we celebrate and honor the women of WWII who redefined what it meant to be a woman in the workforce and played a vital role on the homefront.
This year we are going for our biggest Rosie day ever and offer free admission if you dress like a Rosie and $5 admission to the entire Warhawk Air Museum for anyone else that day! We have a whole new hangar to explore so that’s quite a deal!
We will have more awesome STEM stations this year for kids (and kids at heart), a historical program educating on the history of Rosie’s, Dropzone Burgers food truck, and new this year- everyone who completes all the stations will enter into a raffle to get the chance to sit in a WWII P-40 airplane and get their picture taken! 1 winning ticket will be drawn for this incredible opportunity! Program kicks off at 11am and runs until 3pm. Perfect indoor event for the whole family during this cold winter time in Idaho.
Stations for students: Test your Codebreaker skills, Learn how to Rivet, Start a Victory Garden, Learn about Rationing, Experiment with electrical circuits, Drones, and interact with a current Warhawk Air Museum restoration project: a Panther Jet!
