Description

There are people in our community who are struggling to purchase fresh and healthy food for their families. Local food pantries and other organizations whose mission is to provide food to those in need are seeing an increase in need and a decrease in donations. 

Did you know Snake River Elementary started a Community Garden that can help address some of these concerns? They also worked hard and received a grant to grow this garden and that is where you come in, we need your help! 

Join us on May 11th starting at 9 am to clean up the existing garden bed and build 2 more. Together we can help grow nutritious, healthy fruits and veggies that our community will enjoy! 

Bring your gardening gloves, shovels, and gardening tools if you have them. Make sure to have everything labeled with your name. Dress for the weather and the hard work in the dirt! Leadership Nampa Alumni are welcome to join us.
